Located in the small town of Gimli, Manitoba, about 90 km from the capital on the scenic shores of Lake Winnipeg, stands the legendary Crown Royal Distillery.
Founded in 1939 to honor the visit of the British royal family to Canada, it marked a historic moment as King George VI and Queen Elizabeth became the first royals to tour the country — arriving by ship and traveling coast to coast by train. 👑🇨🇦

Crown Royal Apple, launched in November 2014, came six months before the debut of their world-renowned Northern Harvest Rye.
This distinctive whisky liqueur is crafted from a blend of Canadian whisky, distilled in a Coffey still, and infused with Gala apples and natural apple flavors. 🍏

Originally from New Zealand and introduced to Canada in 1965, the Gala apple is now the world’s most cultivated variety — and continues to thrive in Quebec.
