Located on the small island of Raasay, off the Scottish Highlands, the Isle of Raasay Distillery embodies the very spirit of the new generation of Scottish whisky makers.
Opened in 2017, it combines tradition and innovation, relying on local ingredients: Scottish barley, rainwater filtered through the island’s volcanic rock, and carefully selected casks that express the richness of the maritime terroir.
Each expression produced at Raasay reflects its surroundings: the salty Atlantic breeze, light peat, and subtle woody notes derived from their multiple maturation methods.
Their goal? To create complex, elegant whiskies deeply connected to their island origins.
