Honō Izakaya is a small Japanese tavern opened in 2018. We specialize in small, sharing dishes that honor Japanese traditions and incorporate local products. Our cocktail and bar menu are an integral part of our identity and are one of the main reasons for our success and reputation. The bar offers a range of natural and local wines, as well as a varied selection of sakes, all served in a relaxed, warm, and festive atmosphere. The establishment was ranked 29th in Canada’s 50 Best Bars in 2020, BOTY at the Lauriers de la Gastronomie in 2023 (Julien Vézina), and has twice been listed in the top 10 Patrón Perfectionists in Canada (Julien Vézina). It has also been nominated three times for Best Restaurant/Bar (Canada) at the Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards.
