El Pasador Rum is a blend of several distilleries in Guatemala, shipped to Charente in France then refined in Cognac barrels for several months. Developed by the young company Les Bienheureux, founded in 2015, El Pasador de Oro has already won a gold medal at the Brussels World Competition, Spirits Sélection in 2019.

Voici le petit dernier de cette belle distillerie de Trois-Rivières, on était déjà des fervents du rhum Mana et maintenant l’équipe de Wabasso nous gâte avoir leur rhum épicé. À la saveur estivale, nous vous présentons un cocktail inspiré du Reggae Rum Punch afin de mettre ce spiritueux québécois en valeur.
Fondée en 2017, la distillerie a repris le nom de la célèbre compagnie ”Wabasso Cotton Company’’ qui s’était établie dans la ville 110 ans auparavant. Nous entretenons une superbe relation avec cette distillerie que nous admirons pour son désir de mettre en valeur des produits et des artisans du Québec.

Here is the latest from this beautiful Trois-Rivières distillery, we were already fans of Mana rum and now the Wabasso team is spoiling us with their spiced rum. With a summer flavor, we present to you a cocktail inspired by Reggae Rum Punch to highlight this Quebec spirit. Founded in 2017, the distillery took the name of the famous ”Wabasso Cotton Company” which was established in the city 110 years earlier. We maintain a superb relationship with this distillery that we admire for its desire to showcase Quebec products and artisans.

Glenmorangie X rencontre le cocktail The Modern
Glenmorangie est une distillerie écossaise des Highland qui a été fondé en 1843 par un couple de fermier, soit William Matheson et sa femme Anne. Après la deuxième guerre mondiale, la distillerie est en pleine expansion, elle passe de deux alambics à 4 en 1977 et continue sur sa lancée pour atteindre 12 alambics en 2009. La réputation et la qualité de cette distillerie parle d’elle-même. Leurs whiskys sont les plus vendus en Écosse depuis 1983 et ils produisent 10 millions de bouteilles par an dont 65% d’entre elles sont vendues sur le territoire anglais.
Ce single malt nous a inspiré le cocktail The Modern, une adaptation du Hoffman House par Charles S. Mahoney en 1905.

Glenmorangie is a Scottish Highland distillery which was founded in 1843 by a farming couple, William Matheson and his wife Anne. After the Second World War, the distillery was expanding, going from two stills to 4 in 1977 and continuing its momentum to reach 12 stills in 2009. The reputation and quality of this distillery speaks for itself. Their whiskeys have been the best-selling in Scotland since 1983 and they produce 10 million bottles per year, 65% of which are sold in England.
This single malt inspired The Modern cocktail, an adaptation of Hoffman House by Charles S. Mahoney in 1905.

Ardbeg Wee Beastie rencontre le cocktail I Love Islay
Voici la plus récente expression de la distillerie Ardbeg qui a été introduite dans la collection permanente de la marque lancée en avril 2020. Le Wee Beastie, un single malt âgé de 5 ans en ancien baril de bourbon ainsi que de de sherry Olorosso et est embouteillé à 47.4 % Fondé par John Macdougall en 1815, cette distillerie Écossaise emblématique d’Islay a parcouru tout un chemin avant de devenir la légende qu’on connaît aujourd’hui. Elle a passé plusieurs fois aux mains de nouveaux propriétaires et a même fermé ses portes à deux reprises avant que Glenmorangie la prenne sous son aile en 1997.
Nous avons saisi cette occasion de travailler ce scotch pour ajouter à notre carte un cocktail qui permettra à tous d’apprivoiser et s’introduire à la tourbe.

Here is the most recent expression from the Ardbeg distillery which was introduced into the brand’s permanent collection launched in April 2020. The Wee Beastie, a single malt aged 5 years in ex-bourbon barrels as well as Olorosso sherry and is bottled at 47.4% Founded by John Macdougall in 1815, this iconic Scottish distillery from Islay has come a long way before becoming the legend we know today. It passed through new owners several times and even closed its doors twice before Glenmorangie took it under its wing in 1997.
We took this opportunity to work with this scotch to add to our menu a cocktail that will allow everyone to tame and introduce themselves to peat.

À 41 ans, Richard Hennessy fonde cette distillerie qui deviendra plus tard le plus grand producteur et exportateur de cognac mondial. Les cognacs Hennessy ont rapidement connu un succès monstre et furent rapidement exportés vers les États-Unis seulement 29 ans après sa fondation. Plusieurs générations de la famille se sont succédées les reines de l’entreprise pour la mener à produire et vendre plus de 100 millions de bouteilles annuellement.
Originellement appelé Hennessy 3 stars, il fut renommé Hennessy Very Special par Maurice Hennessy en 1865. Il est aujourd’hui le cognac le plus connu et le plus apprécié à travers le monde.

Hennessy cognacs quickly became a huge success and were quickly exported to the United States only 29 years after its founding. Several generations of the family have succeeded each other as queens of the company to lead it to produce and sell more than 100 million bottles annually.
Originally called Hennessy 3 stars, it was renamed Hennessy Very Special by Maurice Hennessy in 1865. It is today the best-known and most appreciated cognac throughout the world.

Balzac absinth meets lady in green
A mythical spirit with a greenish tint which has fueled several legends and rumors. The story of absinthe dates back several thousand years when its use was told during ancient Egypt. More precisely in the Ebers Papyrus, which is the oldest recorded medical treatise, written during the reign of Amenhotep I, recognized at that time for its medicinal properties; aphrodisiac and stimulating creativity. However, due to bad press and several unfortunate incidents, absinthe has long been the target of laws that made it illegal in several countries until recently.
Launched in 2018, Balzac Quebec absinthe was developed by Distillerie Mariana four years after its founding in Louiseville. For February, their absinthe liqueur is the star of our cocktail of the month. A simple way to introduce absinthe with freshness.
