La pr\u00e9sentation nous a \u00e9t\u00e9 donn\u00e9 par Naoki Tomoyoshi, embassadeur de la marque. Travaillant dans un bar sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 en Whisky, cette exp\u00e9rience m\u2019a permis d\u2019approfondir mes connaissances sur le sujet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le fondateur de Nikka, Masataka Taketsuru, est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme le p\u00e8re du whisky japonais. Il a construit sa premi\u00e8re distillerie, Yoichi, sur l\u2019\u00eele de Hokkaido. Le succ\u00e8s de celle-ci lui permet d\u2019\u00e9tablir une deuxi\u00e8me distillerie, Miyagikyo, pr\u00e8s de Sendai. C\u2019est \u00e0 partir des singles malts de ces deux distilleries que le groupe Nikka produit sa gamme de whisky japonais.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lors de la d\u00e9gustation, nous avons pu go\u00fbter individuellement les diff\u00e9rentes bases (alcools neutres) utilis\u00e9s par Nikka avant qu\u2019elles soient m\u00e9lang\u00e9es pour produire ces 4 produits ; Nikka Coffey Grain, Nikka Coffey Malt, Nikka Coffey Gin ainsi que Nikka Coffey Vodka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nous avons \u00e9galement appris sur le type d\u2019alambique utilis\u00e9 pour la distillation du whisky Nikka. C\u2019est un alambique \u00e0 colonne, de type coffey.
